Copper is a hardware shop that stays open late. People walked past it every night without knowing it was there.

Easy to find

We started with the sign: a red panel that reads from the end of the street. Inside, black wayfinding tells you where the paint, tools and keys are in three words or fewer.

What changed

The same red tag now sits on bags, receipts and shelf labels, so the shop feels like one place from the pavement to the till.
